This past weekend our district held its annual Foundation Walk in the beautiful city of Montréal, in Quebec.
The Foundation Walk was hosted by the Rotary Club of Montréal West & NDG. Many members from across the district participated in the walk.
It was an excellent opportunity to meet and mingle, have Fellowship, and have fun with many Rotarians who had not seen each other in a long time. Our district raised USD 13,000 $ for the Rotary Foundation.
The Rotary Foundation supports many humanitarian projects near and far. It also funds scholarships for individuals in a first-year master’s degree program in any of Rotary's "Seven Areas of Focus." In the few remaining weeks of this Rotary year, let’s finish the year with strong support for our Foundation and reach our goals. www.rotary.org
One more big, huge thank you to everyone in our club (and to Paul Elsely!) for participation, patience, and passion that went into drafting and accepting a new version of our bylaws. Our efforts are never perfect, but always meaningful examples of fellowship and cooperation!
Have a great week everyone,
Maddie

Club Vision Exercise 17 May
Very much looking forward to our upcoming conversations this Tuesday. We have so much room to grow and so much potential with the strength, wisdom, and passion you all bring to the Club.
Please note, Lars Henriksson will be handling the session. On line as we are, is new for him, but he estimates that we should need about 2 h.
Bylaw Vote 10 May
Thank you to all of you who gave careful consideration to these discussions, both to those who came out to the meeting to vote and to those who sent support and advice from near and far.
We have revised bylaws, supported to the tune of over 90% in favour of amended bylaws. You will be getting a copy shortly, and of course the final document will be filed 'on line' in ClubRunner.
