The Rotary Foundation (TRF) offers a wide range of recognitions for those who contribute. Here are a few of them.
A Sustaining Member of TRF is someone who gives $100 annually to the Annual Fund. These donations contribute to points that can be used for a Paul Harris Fellow.
A Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) is given to an individual who has given at least $1000 to the Annual Fund, Polio Plus, or to a global grant approved by the Foundation. Many clubs give a PHF to a member for their service during a given Rotary year, or to a community leader to recognize their contribution. The recipients are given a certificate and pin.
A Multiple Paul Harris Fellow represents a person who has given any additional amount of $1000 to TRF. The PHF pin is set with sapphires or rubies; the number of stones indicates the level of contribution (from $2000 to &9,999 USD).
The Paul Harris Society recognizes donors who contribute at least $1000 USD to the different funds or an approved Foundation grant every year.
A Rotary Club is eligible to become a 100% Paul Harris Fellow Club when each active member is a Paul Harris Fellow at the time the banner recognition is requested. The governor must be contacted by a club leader to confirm eligibility, and the governor submits a request to TRF. This is a one-time-only recognition.

Notes from the Membership Committee
At our meeting this week, we discussed the continuing attempts to get us to know each other better. We will be starting earlier for those who want to come in and just chat. One idea that we discussed is going into breakout rooms so that we only have three or four other people in our group.
We feel that having regional Directors, or liaisons, are useful. Originally this was to have someone who could organize members in a particular area to attend something like a Salvation Army Kettle day, but it can also work effectively as a communication method. We will need to have someone who will be the liaison with those outside of North America. Volunteers are needed.
“Coffee with a Rotarian” was discussed again, and Nico is prepared to send out a message to investigate who wants to take part, but also to do a regular sign up that he will monitor.
Finally, we talked about “Meet the Member”, something that we did a couple of years ago. Essentially it is a classification talk that can be published in the bulletin. I have also seen a very successful series from clubs and districts on Facebook that highlights individual Rotarians. If there is interest, I will revive this idea.
Attendance is at 59.55%. I know that some of you have not marked in your makeups. Remember that if you are not up to June 30, do not Bank your makeup, but choose an actual date.
