President's Thoughts

 
It's with great honour and enthusiasm I step into the role of President of our Rotary Club. I'm incredibly grateful for the trust you have placed in me, yet anxious about meeting your expectations.   
I work full time and expect time pressures while meeting the needs of this incredible and unique club.
 
Challenge #1:  Why am I here?   Why am I reading this?  Why am I part of this club?
 
At the next club meeting (July 30), I'll include a time-slot to open up the floor to those who wish to share some thoughts. By hearing each other we may stimulate common matters that are important to us all.  Please come prepared with a thought or two if you can, but no pressure.

Secretary's Contemplations 
 
Welcome to a New Rotary year.
 
I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to all our members. Together, we have the opportunity to make a significant impact in our community and beyond.
 
Our focus this year will be on strengthening our service projects, building lasting relationships, and embracing new opportunities for growth. 
 
Here are some key initiatives and goals for the year ahead: 
 
 1. **Community Service**: We will continue to support local projects.
 
2. **Membership Growth**: Let's invite more like-minded individuals to join our cause. A larger membership means more hands to help and more ideas to share. 
 
3. **Fundraising**: Innovative fundraising events will be crucial to support our initiatives. Your participation and creativity are essential. 
 
4. **Youth Programs**: We aim to enhance our support for youth programs, nurturing the next generation of leaders through mentorship and scholarships. 
 
5. **International Projects**: Expanding our reach to global projects, we will work worldwide to make a difference. I encourage each of you to get involved, share your ideas, and take on leadership roles. Your dedication and passion are what make our Rotary club thrive.
