Altogether, our club donated $240.00 CAD. Over $15,000 was raised altogether.

June 2 Tree Planting

Are you taking part in the Ottawa area tree planting, see Events on the left? Here is an interesting link about tree planting through the Rotary Club of West Ottawa.

Did You Know?

Rotary International can go back and trace you through your Rotary ID number. When you transfer from one club to another, that number should follow you, but sometimes it doesn’t. Recently I asked RI to look up a member’s record because something did not seem right. It took several emails back and forth, but finally we had a result. Congratulations Len Goddard – 41 years in Rotary!

Welcome

Mark Holberg is rejoining Rotary from Watertown. Mark has recently been working on getting the ShelterBox Ride website ready for this year's event. Here is the newspaper link http://www.watertowndailytimes.com/curr/sixth-annual-shelter-box-ride-set-for-june-2-in-henderson-harbor-20180423?gallerydate=2018-04-21Z  What's in a ShelterBox you ask?

Montreal 2018 Invitation and Project Fair Announcement

An invitation from Director Elect Jeffry Cadorette is in the Documents section under the 18-19 Events & Notices heading. Also, in the same Documents section for 18-19 is a project fair announcement. What is a Project Fair? Read the document and find out.

LIVESTREAM THE CONVENTION!

Greetings,
As someone who has registered for Rotary International Conventions in the past few years, we thought you would be interested to know that, for the first time, Rotary International will livestream inspiring general sessions and key breakout sessions from the 2018 convention. You can watch them live or whenever you have time for up to three months after the convention ends.

Livestreaming is available in English or Portuguese for $150.

Click the following link for a list of general and breakout sessions.
