Meeting Format Feedback?
I believe the recent club change to deal with procedural matters at board meetings (which are open to all members) thereby giving time back to club meetings for facts, fun, and all things Rotary, has been a very positive step. If you feel different or have ideas now is the time to speak.
A reminder that the next club meeting will be our final 'poker segment', so if you want a card you will need to attend. BIG prizes (well, not so big) are at stake!
On a serious note, our procedure for being involved in global projects is taking shape under our ISC Simmy Ahluwalia, and I encourage you to reach out to her if you have ideas or projects you want to bring to the club. We had a superb presentation from fellow Rotarians in Tunisia at our last meeting and are looking at participating in a global/district grant as a result. There are hurdles and discussions to be had still, but the fact that we are even in a position to consider this is a significant step forward for our club.
Finally, Spring is upon us, the weather is turning, and my term as president is nearing an end! If you have any feedback for me personally or the club board, please speak. We are going from strength to strength as a club, but we need engagement from members more than ever.
Get involved.

President Elect's

Wow, here we are in May!!!
Working in the gardens and flower beds today, in preparation to plant for the upcoming summer and hopefully a good harvest!!
Looking forward to working with each of you as we continue to plant and harvest our Club. Much work is needed, and so much has already been done. The future of our club has the potential to flourish and become one of best online/passport clubs in Rotary!
What can you do to help? Attend meetings and help us find ways to be more engaging online. Recent talks about grants and helping others, and eventually becoming a lead club on a Global Grant. Helping to get motivational speakers, the world has no limits as we are virtual!! Being involved on the board level, also looking at getting more involved, nudge-nudge!! Finding ways to fund the foundation whether through fundraising or making donations. There are many many more things, what can you bring.
We have not reached our limit, I feel we have the potential to become an even better club within our district. With the foundation that has been laid over the past and present years, to what can be done in the future. We truly put International in Rotary International. With all of us coming together we can be a club that people want to attend and are passionate to support!
Have a great week,
-Sean Goodall
