Our video recording of member and PDG Rene Melchers was successful.
He asks for assistance from all of us.
For details you can watch the video at this link:
When time allows in the next few days, I'll upload it to our club website.
If any of you have pictures or video of events please send them to our  Club Secretary,
Terry Forth. Together, we will post them to our website and possibly
to our club FaceBook and other social media. Include any relevant details, please.
Till next week ...
        Secretary's Thoughts
Hello again fellow D7040 Passport Rotarians,
By the time you are reading this it will be just eight days before our next club meeting, January 28th at 5:00 PM.  Over the next few days expect to see an agenda and other documents for that meeting.  As an example one item we will be discussing at the January Meeting will be the Mississauga Club's 50:50 On Line Lottery and whether or not our club wants to participate.  Under documents you will find the PowerPoint "advertising" the lottery for Ontario Rotary Clubs still there, but this week I have added a Frequently Asked Questions item also on the same Documents Page.  This describes in more detail how the Lottery is actually working.
We are now on a countdown for the next five and half months of President Chris's Term.   And President-Elect Jacinthe's count down until her term gets underway and she is busy now finalizing her incoming Executive members.
Hope everyone has  a good week, and please remember to send me some photos (and stories) of your Rotary experiences!
Jacinthe Paillé, our President-Elect will be back next week with a new article.
Maddie's Musings
January is Vocational Service Month. It's a wonderful time to think about what you can be doing within your community. There are always opportunities to lend a helping hand.
Moreover, January 24th is the International Day of Education. We are so privileged to have access to free, quality education.
I hope that you all have a wonderful week. Stay warm!
